U.S. international Josh Sargent extended his hot streak following a long-term muscle injury, smashing the ball into the top corner to finish off a well-worked Norwich counterattack for the opening goal. The USMNT forward initiated the move with a clever layoff, then darted in behind the defense, collected a pass in stride and lofted the ball over the sprawling goalkeeper.
Unfortunately for Norwich, Derby found a late equalizer, forcing a 1-1 draw.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Sargent's strike gave Norwich a 1-0 lead after 68 minutes in their EFL Championship clash. It seemed to have set up a hard-earned win at Carrow Road. Instead, struggling Derby – who find themselves in the relegation zone – snagged a 92nd-minute equalizer thanks to a Jerry Yates penalty.
